Som Mandal is the Managing Partner of Fox Mandal Delhi, one of the oldest and largest solicitor firm of India, and is based in Delhi-NCR. He is Member BJP Bengal State Executive Committee and Member National Executive BJP Legal Cell.

He is a dedicated politician and is working tirelessly for the cause of his constituency and serving the people of his homeland. The first step of which has been taken by instituting “Friends of Bengal”, an organization that addresses key issues concerning the people of Bengal and work towards achieving its aim of creating “Sonar Bengal”.

He actively contributes in various International Seminars and regularly speaks at International forums to promote Investments to India under the “Make in India” program.

On the professional front, he’s a highly noted and recognized lawyer in the country and has many accolades to his name including award by the Indian Council of Jurist on the occasion of National Law day Award 2002 in India for his unique contribution in the field of Corporate Law by Hon’ble Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Mr. Mandal has featured in Asian Legal Business Magazine’s Hot 100 Lawyers of Asia and also amongst the 40 International Star Lawyer graded by The Lawyer magazine the UK. He has been awarded by the Rt Hon'ble Lord Phillips President of the Supreme Court of the UK for his Professional Excellence and for providing quality legal service with creativity and Innovation in the UK.

He has also been actively involved in corporate social activities of his firm by providing free legal aid to the economically weak and other contributions. He also encourages aspiring artists to hold exhibitions in the art gallery that he has created in a section of his firm in New Delhi.
