My name is Sonal Dugar and I am currently a freshman at the University of Georgia. I graduated from Northview High School in Johns Creek, GA and am majoring in Biology. My interests include Tae Kwan Do, journalism, volunteering, traveling, meeting new people, trying new foods, watching movies, running, and reading. Some interesting facts about me are the I am a vegetarian, a middle child, and I have a black belt. My favorite movies include 500 Days of Summer, Mean Girls, The Dark Knight, and Monsters, Inc. My favorite TV shows include Modern Family and Grey's Anatomy. My current plans for the future include practicing medicine and becoming a pediatrician. I hope to get involved in organizations that promote research for common diseases in children and hope to one day lead research projects as well. I would like the opportunity to one day travel to less privileged countries in order to educate the young people there and promote better health care by acting early.
