Summary

Currently total volume of living solid waste from Vietnam urban areas is about 28,000 ton/day, forecast to 2015 will be 35,000 ton/day and in 2020 will be 53,000 ton/day.

Ratio of taking back components to be reprocessed and recycled is only about 20-25%. Urban dwellers are not aware how beneficial it is to categorize throw-aways into garbage and recycling items, and there are no strict legal systems that dictate the behavior.

People dispose garbage with no classification or just trash on the street without hesitation. In order to make a system right, self-awareness of people with recycling is necessary.

This project try to convey the message that how serious waste disaster is, further more, encourage people to have an interest in recycling.

The research has been done for setting the target audience of the project, found out that early ~ mid 20's barely knew about the recycling concept, methodology due to lack of education at school.

With researches found, came up with making an educational& motivational video inspired by RSA animate. so expected to spread online, hopefully, get an attention from the target audiences.
