Sonia Gupta has worked in a software and platform development role with several agencies. Formerly a developer advocate with InfluxData, Sonia troubleshot user issues and also answered questions about the company’s products.
Helping in a marketing capacity, she routinely created blog posts about InfuxData’s products. During this time, she attended multiple industry conferences and events, including presenting at several of them. Sonia spoke at 2019’s DevOpsDays Vancouver and was also a presenter at InfluxDays events in New York City and London in 2019.
In addition to speaking engagements, she regularly participates in podcasts centered around industry topics, such as 2nd Career Devs and Hustle Over Entitlement. Though she has made a career in web development, Sonia also spent several years working as an attorney. A Loyola University New Orleans College of Law graduate, she earned her Juris Doctor in 2008.
After practicing law for several years, she attended the Turing School of Software and Design, where she earned a web development certificate. Sonia also holds a bachelor of arts in English and American literature from New York University.
