I'm a Linguist and English teacher who loves travelling and is always willing to discover amazing locations, try local food and meet new people (and not necessarily in that order!).

I share my passion for Linguistics as the co-manager of 'Love and Linguistics'. In our page and twitter account you will find the latest news on linguistics and lots of information about teaching resources, recent research, conferences and more.

Currently I am an Adjunt Teacher at Pompeu Fabra University and at EUSES. I have taught undergraduate courses focusing on applied linguistics, academic writing, English grammar, scientific English, and translation and graduate courses on research methods.

My research focuses on foreign language acquisition and academic writing. I'm particularly interested in the language learning potential of writing tasks and in the effects of context (study abroad vs. stay at home) on foreign language learning.
