Sonia Baptista was born in Aveiro, Portugal in 1986. She is currently a graphic designer at the Climar, lighting industry, S.A.
She graduated from the ESAD, Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha (2009) in Product Design. In 2011, She finished her master's degree in design at the University of Aveiro (UA) with the theme: Flexible systems: from idea to realization of new scenarios habitable. The theme focused on the complexity, potential and strategy in the construction of places, experiences and flexible spaces, from the perspective of intervention in urban regeneration.

In her projects, the link between design and strategy is very clear. Project after project, the strategy interconnects action areas, which allows a more direct connection between project, client and consumer.
