Sonia Liñán

I’m a science communicator passionate about turning research into clear, relevant stories that move people to act. I currently coordinate Digital Media and Scientific Affairs at PRBB (Barcelona Biomedical Research Park), shaping editorial content and digital communication that brings biomedical science closer to society.

Before PRBB, I led Communications and Citizen & Stakeholder Engagement at the EMBIMOS research group (ICM-CSIC) and supported the core team behind MINKA, a citizen-science observatory. Earlier, I spent six years at Biocat leading Digital Marketing & Communications—developing strategy, mentoring a small team, and growing multichannel impact. I’ve also worked in communication roles at IC3, AMGEN, the Aquarium of Barcelona, and the environmental agency Iternatura.
