I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management. I was in the Isenberg School of Management in the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management. I was a member of two sport management clubs, McCormack Leaders Club and WISM (Women in Sport Management). I was also the director for 2 years of a club called Run4Fun (Elementary running program). I was an intern for Ice Stars for Wounded Warriors for 2 years where I was in charge of the parade and ice show parts of the event. For fun I skated on the UMass Synchronized Figure Skating Team which practiced three or four times a week and qualified and skated at Nationals all three years I was on the team.

My plan now that I have graduated is to get a job for a few years to get some hands on experience before I go to grad school. I'm hoping to get a job in account management or game day operations.

What got me to this point in my life and inspired me to make these decisions for my future were the experiences I have had up until this point. I have been fortunate to have traveled all over the world including China, Costa Rica, Mexico, Israel, Turkey, Spain, St. Lucia, Italy, Greece, Alaska, etc. Sports have also been a significant part of my life as I have participated in softball, soccer, figure skating, basketball, indoor track, and tennis. These are the events that have inspired me to make the decisions i have made for myself for my future. They were undiscovered passions that lead to a conclusion of what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Passions are hard to come by, some people search for years to find a true passion. I found a passion from the moment I could walk, I loved sports and being active. That was a passion, but I found my true passion sitting on my living room floor, at the age of eight, looking up at the TV and seeing for the first time the sport of figure skating. I was hooked and haven't stopped skating since that moment. It's the one activity in my life I just can't seem to get enough of. I love everything from performing in the shows, to achieving personal goals by passing tests, to the lifelong friends I have made. This true passion was a blessing to discover and it continues to make me the person I am today.
