I joined VaynerMedia in Feb 2015 as Head of Sampling, a new division created after the acquisition of my company Betabox, which I started in 2013. As the Founder/CEO Betabox, I led a team of geniuses from Prehype, a venture development firm, and Mondelez Global (NASDAQ:MDLZ), from concept, to pilot, launch, and acquisition.
Along the way I launched and continue to grow a labor of love side project, Vinyl Loop with the help of the baller / designer / developer / genius Zach Sherman.
Prior to Betabox, I led marketing at Voxy, an ed-tech startup, from seed through Series A, from 5 to 30 employees. Before that, I led marketing at Shoeboxed from seed to Series B, 7 to 50 employees.
Before alllllll of that, I founded Stella by Starlight, a rock band that I jammed to national prominence from 2006-09, including scoring an MTVu award in 2007.
Along the way I've taught digital marketing with General Assembly for clients like Visa, L'Oreal, Wells Fargo, & Staples. I've had the fortune to consult with awesome companies like Njoy, Managed by Q, Mailchimp, Tagasauris, & Sebastien Grey Clothiers. And I've been to ~25 countries, most of them with my ridiculously amazing wife / hero, Katie.
