Hi, my name is Sonya Henry. I'm a 21 year old college senior from Atlanta, Ga. I am a sexual abuse survivor. From age 6 to 12 years I was sexually abused by a plethora people during this time. I was mentally and physically disturbed through my abuse. The dysfunctions of my abuse still lingers today. Contrary, I still found my way out the odds. I'm attending one the most illustrious HBCU's in the world, Savannah State University where I'm obtaining a major in Behavior Analysis. Most of my healing and growth came from me going to college. I have had the opportunity to travel the east coast and sing with the Wesleyan Gospel Choir of Savannah State University. I have served both president and vice president of W.O.R.D. inc. and I'm also a certified crisis victim advocate at the Savannah Rape Crisis Center.

Through my accomplishments all I can say is "but GOD" . I couldn't have done any of this without my lord and savior. He has made me the powerful and undefeated woman I am today.

I have been called to intercede and to be a missionary. I know my story will help save people, and its time to tell it. It is my duty, my passion, and plan to reach out and help as many youth as I can. I want to travel the world door to door, school to school, group home to group home and educated men, women, children, and educators and educate them on the true cancerous disease child sexual abuse is ;and how it is one of the greatest extraneous variables to high crime rates.

I want to help those who have been sexually abuse recover by Using the tools that I have learned in school, and some methods on how I fought through the deficiencies of my tragic experience.
