Sooji nam

Hi, I’m Sooji. I’m a Student Journalist living in Los Angeles, California. I am a senior at the University of Southern California, double majoring in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and International Relations.

I currently work for ABC7 as a news assistant. My previous internship was with ABC News Seoul Bureau in South Korea. As a recipient of the IEEE/NSEP Boren Scholarship, I was able to study for a full year abroad in South Korea and learn not only about the culture, but also experience the historic impeachment of the first former president as well as talk to local natives about the increase in the tensions in the Korean peninsula.

I aspire to be a global correspondent in my near future. In order to get to that step, I am practicing my journalistic skills as an Annenberg TV News anchor every Wednesdays and plan on reporting for the newscast next semester.
