Tamim Sookoor

I am a graduate student working towards a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Virginia. I am a member of the Real-Time and Embedded Systems Laboratory studying under Prof. Kamin Whitehouse. Prior to coming to U.Va., I received a B.E. in Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University. My research interests lie in wireless sensor networks(WSNs), other networks (wireless, mesh, ad hoc), parallel programming, declarative interfaces, automatic inference, plus anything else systems-related for which I have time. I particularly enjoy implementing programming interfaces to ease application development for resource-constrained WSNs.
