Sooz Weissberg
California Central Coast
My husband and I fell in love ten years ago with the views of the Central Coast. After several efforts, we found an location with ideal climate and privacy, and proceeded to design a home to highlight the oaks and surrounding nature. We later added a barn building to use for guests, art studio, and office. Bob does extensive gardening with draught-resistant plants and succulents, as well as ponds and hardscaping. I paint and otherwise alter books and also quilt. Bob started a niche business in 1993 which he owned and managed until 2004 when he sold 90% of the business to key employees. We collect and assemble epidemiological data and publish it on the web where it is sold to the marketing divisions of pharmaceutical companies to help them decide where to focus their research and development. In 2013, our company was purchased by Thomson Reuters. We live with two cats, a beloved Welsh Corgi, and a miniature long-haired Dachshund. We're going on 18 years of marriage this year.
