My surename is Choung, which means bell that makes people alerts of the importance of time and my first name is Sophearith, which means the power of lawyer in making any judgement for a fair and just way. I was born in the year of wartime in my country, which is the darkest history of the country was going to happen, which genernally know as the killing fiedls shwon in one of the terrible hollywood movies. However, soon afther that regime, I knew nothing of what had happend to me, my family and other people in the country as I had written for the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) when I started as a volunteer in May 1999 and later in 2000 I became full-time staff starting as a staff writer of the Searing for the Truth! Worked for about 10 years for several projects of the center and traveled to several coutries including Vietnam, Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand, Australia, United States, Italy, and Japan to exchange experiences and skills. However, as life is changing, I have decided to change this career and few months later I got new better job at the Extra-Ordinary Chambers in the Court of Camboida (ECCC) as a Witness Assistant. A part from this current employment, I have started my own business with K-Link International and home-based business online that I own my WebSIte or WorldSite as www.sophearithchoung.ws in the purpose of I Own My Life--Own My Business.
