Sophia Nahachewsky

I am Sophia Nahachewsky.

My parents are Fr. Ivan and Debbie and the crazy kids I was lucky enough to grow up with are Roman, Andriy, and Nina. I lived in small town Kamsack before moving to "big city" Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Since high school I have studied at the University of Saskatchewan, volunteered for a year and a half at The Welcome Home in inner city Winnipeg, and earned a Bachelor of Theology – Eastern Christian Studies through the Sheptytsky Institute in Ottawa.

Travelling, kaiser, liturgy, camping, and polka all rate high on my list of passions. Random life experiences include going to Space Camp (as an Air Cadet), selling flooring, and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef.

I have had the joy of working for the Yorkton Remptorists out of Winnipeg for the past two summers, but it's good to be back home this May - August as the Youth and Young Adult Minister for the Eparchy of Saskatoon!
