Like a relay race, I have to warm up before I begin my journey. I gather up all my thoughts, and when it's time to begin, I take off. I start off fast, and bolt down the road. Farther and farther the pages are covered with words, and farther and farther my feet carry me down the road. I stumble over certain phrases, and knock down a couple obstacles. But I don't stop there; I'll come back later for them. I keep going and let nothing stop me as I bolt down that street. Letters turn to words, words turn to sentences, and sentences turn into paragraphs. Soon enough, I'm halfway complete. I struggle to keep going, and I grow tired. But my confindence boosts, when I realize I'm almost at the finish line! With all my hard work and effort, I finish the race. But I remember that I knocked down a few obstacles, and messed up a few words. So of course, I go back and fix what I started. I edit and rephrase, revise and re-do. Everything needs to be put back into place. Once I've done that, I can really be done with my race.
