Sophia is an accomplished producer of award-winning short films and music promos. Sophia's productions have been exhibited at national and international film festivals, including the UK Jewish Film Festival, Geneva International Jewish Film Festival, London Short Film Festival and Asthetica Film Festival; a particular achievement that Sophia is especially proud of is the short film 'Happy New Year', for which she was awarded the Pears Short Film Fund.

Sophia has over 10 year's BBC experience as a Regional Project manager for BBC Learning. To hone her skills in production, Sophia graduated with an MA in Film & Television Production at Royal Holloway, University of London where she was taught by Ceci Depsey (The Lobster).

Selected for BAFTA CREW in the Production Management category, Sophia was consequently selected to be a BAFTA mentor for the BFI Film Academy Alumni programme.

Sophia has extensively knowledge of audience development for film exhibition. Recognising a need to celebrate emerging and world cinema talent, Sophia has curated & programmed films and events for a range of arts institutions and was subsequently selected for the Independent Cinema Office and UK Film Distributors Association’s Internship Programme.

Sophia then completed the National Film and Television School’s BAME Leadership programme and was mentored by Duncan Clark, President Of Distribution at Universal Pictures International. On graduation of the programme, Sophia was subsequently recruited by the National Film and Television School as the new ShortCourses@NFTS BAME Leadership Programme Producer.

Sophia produced the ambitious sci-fi short ‘White Lily', directed by Tristan Ofield. White Lily has been accepted into the Buyer's Market at Palm Springs Short Film Festival, won 5 awards including "Best Film" at the Focus International Film Festival and been short listed for Best Live Action Short at Sci-On. White Lily is also currently touring Comic Cons in the U.S.

Sophia is currently developing a slate of features and is currently casting for her first feature film "Her Name Was Clementine".
