Sophia Rosing
Undergraduate Student Aspiring Lawyer in Union, KY, USA
I am a student at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where I am set to graduate in May 2026 with Summa Cum Laude honours. My goal is to attend law school and build a career focused on advocacy and prisoner rights. I believe the legal system should not only enforce laws but also provide pathways for rehabilitation and fairness, especially for those who are often overlooked.
I grew up as the youngest of seven in a small town, where my father worked as an executive in construction and my mother taught in schools. From them, I learned the value of discipline, education, and service. Those lessons continue to guide me as I balance my academic goals with my commitment to community impact.
Each week, I volunteer at the Freestore Foodbank in Cincinnati, helping provide food for families in need. This work reminds me that change begins in small acts of service and that building stronger communities starts locally.
Beyond my studies and volunteering, I enjoy baking, boating, skiing, and spending time with my dog. These passions give me balance and joy. My long-term vision is to use my education and experiences to become a lawyer who leads with empathy and purpose.
