Sophie Hynes

Hello, I’m a student of Nazareth Academy living in Western Springs. I am the starting goalkeeper for Nazareth Academy’s varsity soccer team and I play baseball outside of school in LaGrange‘s Babe Ruth Senior Division. I play the flute for the Nazareth Academy band and have served as drum major and section leader over my junior and senior years in the band. Over my time at Nazareth Academy I have received academic awards including recently being named a National Merit Commended Scholar and an Illinois State Scholar. Outside of school I umpire for Western Springs Little League where I have been working for 6 seasons. I also work as a Sacristan at St. John of the Cross parish.
