I am a performance artist who is interested and involved in the creation of live work which focuses on the connection between autobiography, live performance, performance writing and what it means to be a female on stage, exploring the complexities of the self in relation to my practice. Whilst graduating from York St John University with a BA Honours Degree, First class in Performance Dance, I was invited to become a junior associate artist at Yorkshire Dance, awarded a choreographic prize at the York St John University Create 11 festival and invited to represent Yorkshire on behalf of Yorkshire Dance at Heads up North East at Dancebase, Edinburgh.
In the two years following my graduation I have created and co-created several works including my current and ongoing collaboration 70/30 Split a female performance duo
