Sophie Verhille

Born in the south of France, I grew up in the north where I received my undergraduate and graduate education. After completing my doctorate, I came to Toronto to pursue post-doctoral studies at the University of Toronto. My specialisation was in Microbiology and drinking water.

I n Canada, I worked for universities, private companies and government bodies. I appreciate the welcome I have received and I like the cultural diversity of this country. I particularly enjoy the beautiful landscapes of BC.

I am passionate about science and languages and love working with children. This is why I recently decided to go into teaching.

I am excited to engage in the field of Education and learn from children. I feel fortunate to enter this field at a time of progressive changes and I am looking forward to contributing in this experience.
