Soraya King

I am an Independent Filmmaker, a Pilipina with Eurasian ancestry - British and Pilipino. I have earned my credit-training in Filmmaking, Film Directing and Cinematography at UCLA.

Writing has always been one of my interests. I learn about the world when I am writing. In my travels, I have met and observed people from different cultures and lifestyles. Being able to share my experiences keep me grounded as a writer. Photography enables me to capture the memories of my creative journey. It is an adventure of a lifetime.

Currently, I am in the process of developing a screenplay into a low-budget independent feature film project in the Philippines. In the meantime, I will be pre-occupied with my creative journey, while surviving life.

Synopsis: A story of a young beautiful woman [ Niamh ], the man [ Adam ] she loves, and the struggle between living a normal life and keeping their illicit affair. he found true love. She is torn between love and the conventions of society. They were consumed with desire and passion for each other, defied the boundaries of age and morality, and lived a secret life. His death has set her free from all her guilt and love has found her once again. This story is set in Ireland, Spain, Scotland, Morocco, London and France from 1910 to 1961, and filled with unforgettable artistic and historical imagery.
