I am a writer and an arts consultant specializing in creative, career and community development for artists and arts organizations.

I have worked in many aspects of arts management for 20 years. Regardless of the role, my work begins by attending to the artist’s process; to translate that process, including its questions, doubts and moments of clarity, back to the artist, and to their audiences; and to see the artist, not only in and of herself, in her time and place, but in the context of her own trajectory, and her community’s.
