Stephanie Osterlund

My name is Stephanie Osterlund. I am currently in my second year of college. I am studying Elementary Education at Western Oregon University. I am from Seaside, Oregon. It is a small beach town on the North Oregon Coast. Growing up there was one of the best things that's happened to me thus far. It has given me a huge love for the ocean.

I work at a summer camp in Warrenton, Oregon called Camp Kiwanilong. It is my favorite place in the world. That place is my home and my staff is my family. Every Friday night we sing a song called "Magic Penny." There's a line from that song that goes "Love is something if you give it away, you'll end up having more." Those words are so important to me. I try to live my everyday life with this approach and so far it's been working.
