Mr James Kiragu Kamanga is the founder and C.E.O. of SOTEMI BUSINESS CENTERS LTD, a management training and consulting firm duly registered and operational in Kenya. He is also on the directorship of a number of other companies including SOTEMI AGRI-BUSINESS CENTERS (RWANDA) LTD. He holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership and is a continuing candidate for another Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). He studied for his undergraduate degree at the University of Nairobi and was awarded a degree in Economics (B.A. Econ). He is a mentor, coach, conference facilitator and certified Trainer of Trainers (TOT). He started his training career at Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and is currently an associate consultant for other leading consulting firms in Kenya including Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE), Dataline International and Christian Organizations Research and Advisory Trust Africa (CORAT Africa)
James Kiragu Kamanga is passionate about empowering individuals and institutions to operate honourably and become agents of societal transformation. He achieves this through designing and delivery of practical training programs for corporates in diverse areas including financial literacy and management, leadership development, corporate strategy development, enterprise development, business management, development of teams, project management, organizational renewal and development amongst other areas. He is currently involved in training engagements as well as offering business development services particularly for corporate organizations and has a passion to see the growth of businesses through the development of practical and innovative interventions to business challenges. Being a born again believer in Jesus Christ for over 20 years, he also devotes time working with Para-church and Christian religious organizations.
He uses and draws immense experience from his past working experiences at the Royal Thai Embassy (a diplomatic Mission in Nairobi), Africa Harvest (an agricultural International) and private sector consultancies for companies such as Aberdare Technologies Ltd, Thuta Farm, ACRO Kenya Ltd and Kings College Ltd. As an associate consultant, he has been involved in trainings for numerous corporates including UNDP-Dryland Development Center, Tuskys Supermarket, Unilever, GROOTS Kenya, Muhoroni Sugar Company, KASNEB, Sidian Bank, KK Security, Kenya Nut Ltd and the Kenya Army. He has also undertaken numerous on-the
