Steven Soto

Hello Everyone,

I am Steven Soto, a proud Eagle Scout from Troop 10 and a Malibu Lodge Vigil Honor member. I currently serve as the Reyes Adobe District Newsletter Editor in Chief.

I have been a part of Scouting for over 15 years, starting as a Tiger Cub and then transitioning to ScoutsBSA in Troop 10. After earning my Eagle Scout Rank, I sought to stay involved and transitioned most of my remaining time as a youth to Venturing and the Order of the Arrow.

Over that time, I have served in numerous roles at the District, Council, Area, Section, Region, National Service Territory, and National levels. From 2021 to 2022, I oversaw our communication efforts as one of the National Venturing Vice Presidents. I rebranded www.venturing.org to its current design and made over 48 new social media pages for Venturing nationwide.

In addition to my current role, I serve as an adult leader in my troop, the Sipo Chapter Adviser, a member of the Council's marketing committee, and a national committee member of the Alumni and Venturing committees.

Professionally, I am a Retail Investment and leasing Specialist and a full-time student at California State University, Northridge, where I study real estate and business law. I am a proud National Venturing Leadership Award recipient and a James E. West Fellow.
