Lorena Soto

Hello,

I graduated from Rauner College Prep. There I played sports through out the four years. I played the clarinet for four years as well. High school was the best four years. Rauner was a small school. It was only three floors. However, being involved gets you to enjoy the time you have there.

I am now enrolled at DePaul going into my second year. My major is Elementary education., I will like to teach Fifth grade. I am also a Golden Apple scholar. Golden Apple is a great experince. Being able to teach students in the summer is amazing. The people are so friendly, and we all share a dream.

Finally, I have a part time job at Chicago Indoor Sports . My postions there is a youth soccer coach, party host, and cashier. I love working with little kids. It was a thrill knowing I can teach the a sprot I enjoy as well.

I have a passion for kids. I feel that is my duty to change as many lives as I can. It is a goal to never give up on a child. So far I have not, and I will like to keep that way. Kids have a different view on the world and I will like to understand where they see it from.
