Roberto Soto has served in media management roles for the public sector as well as in private industry. Soto started his career as a work-study student intern for The Washington Post and ended as NY Bureau Chief and Director of Network News Operations for Associated Press Broadcast. Soto now works in academia and as a media consultant addressing issues of access to multilingual news, sports and information content. Throughout his career, Soto has developed and implemented broadcast upgrades at Univision, Telemundo, VOA, Cablevision and The Associated Press.

Soto enjoys a distinguished career managing various operations, leading teams in planning of special events and programs. He promotes content sharing, noting the increase of shared service agreements. Soto is also experienced liaising with senior executives, board members and politicians, while coordinating with legal and business affairs to ensure compliance, administration and control of the budget. He is visionary with a record of accomplishments. Soto is a talented communicator, with the heart of a novelist and the mind of a journalist.
