Soumik Sengupta

I am Soumik Sengupta a Bachelor Business Administration Honours Co-op student at Brock University. I was born in Guelph, Ontario to my parents Asish and Gitali. At the age of 3 we moved to Mississauga, Ontario to a quiet suburb in the north east corner. I am a follower of the Hindu and Buddhist faiths and am still an Indian at heart even though I was born here. I am a strong believer in ahimsa (अहिंसा) the Hindu teaching that says one should be kind and never violent towards any living thing. I am also a creative, hardworking, loyal and resourceful person. I have learned a great deal over my life time and feel I have accomplished a few small things such as a black belt in taekwondo, lifeguarding licence in swimming, lead role in televised drama, and learning the Indian classical drums the Tabla. I know a few languages, which are: Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu, and English. Lastly I believe in there are no limits to what you can do but the limits you create yourself. This is me, it is who I am, and it is what makes me unique.
