Public historian, girls rights advocate, & gamer geek princess.

I hold a Masters in Public History, with undergraduate studies in sociology and social sciences. I've worked on a variety of projects, including social media management, museum exhibitions and strategic planning, published papers and conference presentations, and historic preservation studies. I'm an avid researcher and writer, with a special interest in women's, Medieval, and pop culture history.

I currently volunteer with Girl Museum as their Program Developer and run Loading Player Two, a blog about the hidden history of girls in gaming.

I am a passionate human rights advocate; book, dog, theme parks, and food lover; and wanderlust-prone adventurer. I can often be found lost (sometimes literally) in Skyrim or Borderlands 2...or playing whatever video / board / card / war game suits my fancy...and enjoying life with family & friends.
