I am an artist currently living in the south. My work explores the linear connection between generations of creative women who expressed their artistic talents using forms available to them, from my great-great grandmother who created exquisite tatted lace to adorn ordinary items evolved through generations to be expressed by me through the use of scraps of black and white paintings and collographed papers sewn together to create a modern work of art. The mixed media paintings consist of matrix of lines and grids that are sewn together to create a quilt like effect.
