Hi - I'm a lawyer with a background in financial law and public policy.

I'm interested in law / regulation, and how people respond to them. I like to design public systems, and governance structures that most creatively use the law to encourage the best outcomes.

In my work, I've largely focused on incentives that shape efficient public systems and encouraged suitable design in that direction. I also love thinking about the use of discretion and decision-making by large institutions - quite important to a lawyer!

I like to travel, read (fantasy and science-fiction), and solve puzzles. I also enjoy cooking, though I spend more time reading food blogs than attempting recipes!

I'm trying to develop an app for the Android ecosystem as a side-project - and learning programming as a consequence.
