Soyokaze Dojo

Welcome and thank you for visiting Soyokaze Dojo at about.me. We are a martial art school instructing in Ninjutsu/Ninpo and Samurai warrior traditions.

Our lineage can be traced back over 2,000 years! Ninpo is said to be the root martial art of Japan; it includes all aspects; punches, kicks, chokes, throws, reversals, pressure points, joint locks, and also includes various tools (weapons). It is not only the best defense, but our school also a rich cultural experience.

Our Japanese Jujutsu was developed from Yoroi Kumi-uchi (Samurai armor fighting). This art was developed for warriors to survive during battle times in ancient Japan (far different from modern Jujutsu taught for entertainment), as well as helping to create a true heart and a strong mind.
