Imagine: a single mother of 4, trying to keepher children protected from negative influences on the tough streets of theWestside of Chicago. Deciding to entertain in the house, sharing with herchildren music she loved, and encouraging them to write songs of their own. Nowimagine Mario (Space World), the oldest son, spending hours with a simple penin hand and paper on the table, writing lyrics. This love of music that began withhis mother would continue to flourish into skill, into passion, into a desire.At the age of 12, Mario adopted the name Space because when he wrote it “feltlike I was in my own world.” He knew he was put on this earth with a littlesomething extra. A special gift that he recognized set him apart from everyone else. He embraced this God given gift and put it into his music.
Today he is known as Space World and his styleand music are as diverse as his name. In the late 90's, Space (as most peopleknow him) and life long childhood friend Jonathan (Rush Galaxy) became Ben-Sity.Their collaborations together have been nothing short of magic. Thismoniker represents love and respect, something both members deserve and demandin their quest to reach their goal of being signed and being able to sharetheir music, with the world. Space World and his partner's dedication to themusic are as strong now as when they first came together.
