The Name:

Philip H. Wainwright, the founder of the company, is responsible for coming up with the name Sparta Matrix; that’s way back in 2002. The word “Sparta” was chosen as a means of honoring the ancient Greek warriors who were mission driven, ordered, disciplined and brave, even if it meant fighting to their death.

The word “Matrix” was chosen as it defines the engineering technique used by the founders of the company when designing and building each system and product. The scalable matrix technique dictates that at the beginning, every innovative idea must start and end with an even 8X8 building block, otherwise known as the matrix. This can be established on either eight component knowns or eight customer objectives. Our internal process is a secret. As such, we are able to produce results in a reliable, top-quality toolbox that’s full of all electronic components required for us to deliver our security products.
