Spartan Mambo is a college salsa dance team at San José State University. Our goal is to enrich the lives of SJSU students and the community through dance.
Spartan Mambo has performed and competed at events across the country, including the San Francisco Salsa Congress, Las Vegas Salsa Congress, and World Latin Dance Cup.
We are three-time finalists and winners of the annual College Salsa Congress, and are the only college salsa team to hold titles at the US Salsa Open and World Latin Dance Cup.
