Tips for selecting workwear for employees
Choose workwear for employees: all about the size, seasonality, and nuances of kits.
Safety technology of any production, whether chemical, food, agricultural, construction, or any other industry, requires a certain level of protection for enterprise employees, which can be given only quality specialized clothing. A complete set of protective clothing provides comfort at any ambient temperature. It protects the skin from external influences, and additional PPE protects against damage to the organs of hearing and vision, inhalation of harmful aerosols and particulates, and hand damage by mechanical or chemical effects. To choose the proper protective clothing for company employees, it is necessary to understand its types and features in detail.
For safe work in the cold season: winter clothing
Winter clothes should protect the body from the cold and let it breathe since most workers spend all day in motion, and constant sweating due to nonhygroscopic tissues can lead to colds or more serious illnesses. Also, winter clothing should be light - it will be difficult for a person to work all day actively if they have to wear massive overalls in addition to the tool. Over time, heavy clothing, in general, can lead to spine problems and chronic pain in the neck and shoulder girdle.
Another factor worth considering when choosing a workwear is the material from which it is made: the basis can be a natural fabric (such as cotton) or synthetic (with similar characteristics of durability and hygroscopicity), impregnated with a moisture- and dirt-repellent impregnation - namely through them the clothes will not be damaged by high humidity, and it will be easy to wash as a filler suitable lightweight synthetic materials - batting, hollow fiber.
A set of clothes must comply with climatic conditions, so it is important to pay attention to the marking of protection class:
I - for I and II climatic zones with an average winter temperature not below -10 degrees Celsius with an average wind speed of about 5.6 meters per second;
II - for III climatic zones with an average winter temperature not lower than -18 degrees Celsius with an average wind speed of 3.6 meters per second;
III - for the IV climatic zone with an average winter temperature of up to -41 degrees Celsius with an average wind speed of about 1.3 meters per second.
