I’ve lived in or near the Tri-Cities for over 35 years, been married for 23, and a mom for 16. (As of January 2024)

My infatuation with tech started decades ago when I decided I would build a robot. I read that I needed to learn basic. So I went and bought a visual basic book (yes, you may laugh). After discovering visual basic is not the same as BASIC, I decided to learn it anyway.

That eventually lead me to the marvelous world of game programming.

Over the years I’ve worked with various development teams doing everything from game animation and large scale programs, to web design and back end databases.

I have bounced between multiple languages both for games, websites, and other applications before discovering C#, which despite my continuing to explore other languages, is my current favorite.

I own my own freelance company Spectral Edge, which I use for publishing games and developing websites. Currently I am not taking clients for any of that because I have discovered my love for music and streaming. I stream on multiple platforms and also host live events where I DJ, Karaoke, Music Bingo, and Trivia.

Meanwhile I still haven’t built that robot.

Update: 11/6/2013 I just ordered my first robot parts! They should be here soon.

Update: 12/10/16 I can't believe this is 3 years later, yes I built a robot. And I am working on making it better.
