Spence Cook

Spence Cook literally grew up in the flower business, the third generation in a family that has been in the industry since 1926. An accomplished floral designer, Spence has planned, overseen, and designed the flowers for countless weddings, showers and parties of all kinds. Earlier in his 30+ year career, while still in Norfolk, Virginia, Spence produced and emceed several Christmas holiday design expos for sold-out live audiences of up to 300. In 1995, Spence took his stage experience to television - he produced and hosted a 30-minute cable program called "Let's Talk Flowers" which aired on three cable systems in Southeastern Virginia. After spending 9 years in New York City, Spence is now based in Asbury Park and Avon-by-the-Sea at the Jersey Shore. Doing business as bloom boxx, he continues to work as a floral designer, event planner and coordinator of weddings, parties, and entertainment events. Spence has been featured as a wedding expert in The New Jersey Star-Ledger, Today's Black Woman Magazine, and Staggered website for grooms. His floral design work was recently featured in Destination I Do Magazine. Known for creating impressive designs that are surprisingly within reach, Spence was selected to be the featured florist to help make a bride's dream wedding come true on "Secret Wedding", a television special airing on TLC cable network December 2013.
