Ruckus Maker in Austin, Texas
“Live in the future and build what’s missing.” – Paul Graham
This quote captures my proclivity for tinkering and reminds me to stay curious and imaginative. I love a business challenge like I love a big slab of Austin brisket. This has led me on a thrilling, sometimes bumpy, journey of entrepreneurship.
At goverb.com, I deliver the essential tools and experiences that help bold entrepreneurs solve wicked social and environmental challenges. In my role, I work closely with entrepreneurs to deliver an edge through mentorship, funding, and global exposure.
Prior to Verb, I was the executive director of an entrepreneurship program for students at the University of Virginia. It was here that I cut my teeth on building peer-communities and crafted my tough-love coaching on resilience and resourcefulness.
I recently started ruckusmakers.com to bring a unique, project-based approach to helping you figure out and stand out in awesome careers.
As the lead instructor for LandAStartupInternship.com, I guide college students on how to land roles at innovative companies.
Before moving to sunny Austin, I grew up and went to school in Virginia. You can find me on my bike heading to breweries, Barton Springs, or lounging in a hammock along Lady Bird lake.
