Spencer Flynn

Born and raised in Holt, Michigan, I headed to Chicago to get away from the familiar and experience new places, people and ideas. But after 6 years of the big city, I'm back. Now I'm looking for a new opportunity and a place I can call "home."

I graduated from DePaul University in 2014 where I double majored in Advertising and Media/Communication. With the double major I was able to explore more than just advertising; classes like time travel or Seinfeld. (I swear I learned something in those ones...)

Within advertising I am passionate about account planning and strategy. My media and communication major let me explore the ways people communicate and why they communicate the way they do. This gives me a much different perspective when working on projects.

Since college I have had multiple jobs at different companies within the investment firm Synetro Group (www.synetro.com). I started off at their ad agency (www.culture22.com), then transitioned to a small startup called BOB.tv (www.bob.tv). Most recently I was back at Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet (www.kalamazoogourmet.com), picking up where I left off after working for them for 3 years during college.

Outside of work I love the anything and everything to do with cars, the outdoors, cigars, and whiskey.
