Spencer Klavsons

Spencer Klavsons, a native of Flemington, New Jersey, has made Lake Forest, Illinois, his new home, embracing the challenges and opportunities of such a change. His story is a testament to his enduring tenacity and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He made this move in 2010, beginning a new chapter at Deer Path Middle School. He showcased his dedication and prowess, particularly in wrestling, rugby, and football, proving his athletic abilities there. This excellence in sports continued unabated at Lake Forest High School until his family moved to Mendham, NJ, following his sophomore year.

His time at West Morris Mendham High School was marked by his unwavering dedication to sports and academic excellence. He participated in football, lacrosse, and wrestling, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to continuous growth and learning.

Post high school, in 2014, he embarked on a new academic journey at the University of Colorado, Boulder. During this period, he also marked his entry into pet ownership, beginning with a Siberian Husky and, later, a St. Bernard-Golden Retriever mix named Sullivan. Initially interested in engineering, his passion for learning led him to switch his focus to economics, eventually earning a BA.
