Spencer Schar recently relocated from Florida to Denver, Colorado, to explore new real estate opportunities and architectural styles.

Mr. Schar was formerly involved with both DCS Real Estate Investments (2020-2024) and The Club at Bella Collina (2019-2024), where he held the post of operations manager. In this capacity his responsibilities included improving operational standards and efficiencies, sitting on the Architectural Control Board for the entire 1,900-acre community, assisting in the management of the Club Advisory Board, assisting in day-to-day decision making, and interviewing and hiring all manager-level employees alongside the general manager.

Mr. Schar is enjoying the opportunities his relocation offers him to explore potential new opportunities in the world of real estate development, and to this end he has been keen to educate himself on the political, regulatory, and planning landscape of his new home state. While Colorado and Florida share many similarities in this regard there are some key differences, specifically regarding issues around water rights and terraforming rocky terrain.

In his free time Mr. Schar loves to hike with his dog on the trails of the nearby Flatirons, which are part of Boulder’s protected Open Space and Mountain Parks. The area covers more than 46,000 acres, providing ample opportunities for walking, rock climbing, and picnicking.
