Spencer Shannon

A Delaware native, I grew up close to Philadelphia and New York; as a child I was always itching to launch myself into the romantic promise of city life. I am now a sophomore at Emerson College studying Writing, Literature, & Publishing and pursuing my interests in book publishing, marketing, and PR.

When I'm not working at the Paramount or Cutler Majestic theatres in downtown Boston, I'm serving as head copy editor for Concrete, one of Emerson's most prestigious lit mags. Back at home, I serve as editorial assistant at Cedar Tree Books, DE's independent publisher of local authors and artists. In my free time, I enjoy working on my blog, Under the Covers - we post student-written, body-positive, empowerment-driven articles about sex, love, and relationships.

I'm always looking for new ways to push myself and develop my skills as a young entrepreneur and global citizen.
