Spencer Timmerman

I'm a PhD student in Business Economics at Washington University in St. Louis — Olin School of Business. My research interests include industrial organization, antitrust, the OTT media industry, and entrepreneurship.

I expect to earn a Masters in Business Economics from WashU Olin in 2026. In 2024 I earned a AS in Economics from Brigham Young University, and in 2017 an AS in Communication Studies from Salt Lake Community College.

I was homeschooled up till age 16, after which I started community college. I served a full-time, 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tempe Arizona. I now serve within my local singles congregation as an activity planner.
