Spencer Turner
Boulder, Co. USA
Born in the South, I left Louisiana when I was 19 to join the Air Force and have only been back a few times to visit. I lived in Austin, Tx., outside Philadelphia, Pa., Houston, Tx., Denver, Co., and for the past 2 1/2 decades, beautiful Boulder... favorite of them all.
I've been happily married to the lovely Linda Bond for over 25 years, with one daughter and three grandsons...16, 6, and 2.
I'm into my 40th year in the hairdressing profession, having played the roles of stylist, owner, educator, and sales representative. I currently have a home studio with my wife, and my clients are mostly friends who have been coming to me for almost 30 yrs.
I've had a fairly diverse spiritual journey over the years...raised as a Catholic, switching to Unitarianism, practicing Transendental Meditation (TM), followed a Guru, the teachings of a unmanifest channeled entity from who knows where, the Native American Medicine Way, and finally, the timeless teachings of many ordinary and extraordinary awakened beings, who have become friends and guides over the years.
If I have a viewpoint on life, it's just this...we're not here to indulge in or play out our fears, prejudices, habitual patterns, conditionings, and beliefs systems. Direct knowing of one's self, God, Love and Life is the utmost freedom, joy and fulfillment we can have in this short moment of time that we're blessed to be here on Earth.
'Life is beautiful, life is wonderous...every star above's, shining down on us.' Keb Mo
