The latest addition, vocalist Billie Mendoza, brings an awesome melodic component. Her vocals ride over Rip's reverb soaked garage and surf-rock sound-scape. Dana Shepard steers the ship like a buccaneer behind his sea-faring drum kit and his quirky and dynamic sound. Along with Bass player Jeffrey Douglass, the combination of their styles has given birth to something completely unique that's reminiscent of the 50s/60s but completely new. Spider Heart sound like no other band.
