Heather M. Elmore

I've been a freelance equine pet and fantasy artist since 1999. I operate under the name Spirit Horse Studios. To date I have paintings all the US states, Canada, and Europe. Although I love and paint all types of animals, horses have always been my passion. My studio is named in loving memory of my first horse Bucky. He was an abused Morgan. We helped each other heal and were the best of friends. I live in the West Virginia near the Charleston area. I have a wonderful and supportive husband who I met at the age of 15 and I've been with him ever since. I also have a wonderful warm hearted son Damon. When I'm not painting I'm spending time with them and the many animals that we have around our farm. The best of which is my Spotted Draft Molly who taught me that sometimes that once in a lifetime horse happens to come around again if you're very luck.
