Spiro Mandylor is an accomplished marketing, business development and social media influencer. The creative arts, healthcare, and computer studies have always been core interests. Learning to code in grade school, he launched his first Bulletin Board System (BBS) using a Commodore 64 in the mid 1980s.
After graduating from the University of Toronto with a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology in 1997, he later obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2005, and a UofT Certificate in Marketing Communications in 2014.
He began working for a Toronto & Los Angeles based dotcom in 1998, where he oversaw the design and implementation of their e-commerce site, web sports portal and fitness software marketing. He quickly transitioned into IT project and account management consulting in the government and healthcare sectors. Project management clients have included the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, eHealth Ontario, Cancer Care Ontario, Ontario College of Pharmacists, and Baxter Pharmaceuticals.
A brief hiatus from technology in 2002 led to an entrepreneurial venture in South America. Mandylor designed and project managed the construction of a discotheque and event space in Chile. After selling his stake in the venue, he went on to work as an international marketing manager for two medical device companies. This was over a five-year period (2003-2008) spending the last two years in London, UK.
In late 2010, Mandylor founded It’s All Style To Me, an online style blog. He’s gone on to cover countless fashion shows and special events in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
Revered for his photography and social media marketing skills, Mandylor was appointed the first ever Canadian official Olympus Photography Visionary in 2012. Many other brand ambassadorships followed. Ford Motor Company selected him as one of the World's Top 150 Social Media Influencers of 2012, he has worked as a MasterCard Canada as one of their Stylicity Bloggers, and as a style panelist for the first season of ‘Celebrity Style Story’ (E! Channel). He has been featured in the Toronto Star, Global TV, View the Vibe, H&M, Fox News NYC, and many other publications.
