Growing up there was not any particular college that I wanted to attend. I always had the mindset of someday I’ll figure out where I want to continue my education. When I was a sophomore in high school I realized that I wanted to go to UGA. I did not grow up a Georgia fan but many of my friends wanted to go there and that made me want to go there. Unfortunately I got waitlisted and decided to attend Florida State University. After being there for a month I realized that it was not the school for me. I knew I still had a desire to attend UGA and I made up my mind that I wanted to transfer. In order to transfer to UGA I needed 30 completed credits which I did not have yet. With that being said I still had to stay at FSU for an entire year. To make my time at FSU better I decided to start playing and taking golf more seriously. After playing a bunch of golf I quickly realized that I love the game and it is now one of my favorite things to do in the world. When I first started playing I was horrible but now, after a year and a half, I have gotten significantly better. While my time at FSU was not the best, getting into golf completely changed my freshman year experience and I am super grateful that I found a new passion of mine.
